Gas or Electric? It Depends on Your Site
The standard cooktop runs on LPG gas. Whether gas or electric makes more sense for your build depends on what your property can actually support. Some sites have plenty of spare electrical capacity for an induction cooktop and oven. Others don’t, especially if the connection is older or already stretched.
We work through this with each client rather than assuming one setup fits everyone. A solar power and battery system is also available as a custom-designed upgrade. It can change what’s realistic for cooking and appliances on a site with limited grid power. The right answer comes from looking at your access and your household’s needs together, not from a standard build sheet.
How a Tiny Home on Wheels Kitchen Compares to a Full-Size Kitchen
A tiny home on wheels kitchen isn’t a compromise on the essentials. It has a cooktop, rangehood, fridge, sink and proper cabinetry, the same components you’d expect in any kitchen. Storage is generous for the footprint, especially with drawer upgrades added.
Where it genuinely differs is volume. A full-size kitchen at home can hold a stand mixer, an air fryer and a slow cooker, all at once. A tiny home on wheels kitchen can’t fit that same volume of small appliances. It’s realistic to plan on one or two appliances living on the bench.
